We regularly counsel clients on federal, state, and local tax laws and issues. We advise on all aspects of taxation, including business tax planning, representing buyers and sellers of businesses, and taxpayer representation in audits, appeals, and collection actions by taxing authorities.

While most of our clients are businesses, similar tax issues affect individuals and similar procedures are employed to solve these problems. In small businesses or entrepreneurial start-ups, the distinction between business tax and personal tax may be nonexistent. Thus our skill set helps both businesses and individuals.

Our Tax practice is generally comprised of two main areas:  Tax Controversy (i.e., resolving issues and problems) and Tax Planning (i.e., cutting costs and avoiding problems).
